Welcome to the registration site for 2025 summer school!
Students may register for these face-to-face summer school courses, beginning May 5 at 12:00 noon from the convenience of their homes, any day of the week until June 18 at 12:00 noon. Please consult the middle school parent guide to summer school programs 2025 as you select your course.
Please note that there are two summer school sites: which site the student attends depends on the school they are zoned for. Students who attend Bayside 6, Bayside, Great Neck, Independence, Lynnhaven, Plaza, or Virginia Beach Middle will go to LYNNHAVEN MIDDLE SCHOOL for summer school. Students who attend Brandon, Corporate Landing, Kempsville, Landstown, Larkspur, Princess Anne or Salem will go to LARKSPUR MIDDLE SCHOOL for summer school. If the student attends Renaissance Academy or Old Donation School, they will go to the site that corresponds with the school they are zoned for.
Only students whose parents/guardians are residents of Virginia Beach are eligible to attend summer school classes. Students must provide their student identification number at the time of online registration. If the student is a non-VBCPS student they may contact the summer school office via e-mail at summerschool@vbschools.com or by phone at 757-263-1980 to set up an appointment to register.
Course selections are subject to verification by school counselors. Registration for summer school courses must be completed online before leaving the registration website. Students are not officially enrolled in classes until payment has been received.
