Welcome to the registration site for Virginia Beach Digital Campus Summer School 2025 online courses!
Students enrolled in this program are able to take a summer school course online, working during hours they find convenient. These courses ARE asynchronous (no required daily meetings) in nature but NOT independent study; the student must meet all weekly assignment deadlines and due dates as determined by the online instructor. Online courses are not for every student, requiring different skills and learning styles than traditional, face-to-face courses. For instance, students in an online course are responsible for scheduling their own "class time" and must have on-demand access to a computer as well as high-speed Internet access. Online students must be skillful readers and writers and must be very focused and disciplined. The most successful online students have these qualities themselves. Parent determination is not a substitute!
Please note that each online summer school class requires 20-25 hours of work each week. You should consult your home school counselor for information about which course to choose. Students should not register for more than two classes unless they have prior approval from their home school administration. If you need a repeat summer course, then you should register through the FACE-TO-FACE Repeat Summer School Courses page.
