You are registering for 7, one hour and 40-minute sessions of Behind-the-Wheel instruction to test students' driving abilities.

Behind-the-Wheel instruction is a supplemental program that determines if a student is ready to drive on their own.  It is NOT a substitute for the 45 hours of parent/guardian instruction that all drivers with a permit must receive before obtaining a license.

Payment is due at the time of registration.  FOR SUMMER: Students are picked up from their homes and therefore must register for their ZONED HIGH SCHOOL regardless of where they attend during the school year and they must have completed the following in order to participate in the course:

1. Possession of a DEC-1 card


2. Possession of a valid Virginia Learner's Permit


3. Completion of at least 20 hours of driving with a licensed adult driver (a total of 45 hours must be completed before a student may apply for a driver's license).

Registration is non-refundable once the student has begun their lessons.

FOR SUMMER

Summer sessions begin June 25 and run through August 2nd.  Students are not guaranteed their first choice session, so it is important that you pick a different 2nd choice.

Students are picked up from their home. Parents should select their ZONED HIGH SCHOOL from the list regardless of where the student attends during the school year.  Students will be contacted at least 3 days before the start of their session to confirm their participation.
